
Mobile telephony is making great strides in recent years and most of the latest generations of smartphones are almost miniature office, able to access the Internet, electronic mail, documents and work more. Some people consider them true mini computer and taking this idea, Microsoft has patented the unit implemented for smartphones to turn them into Pc.
Filed on January 22, the patent provides a dock in which to insert the phone in order to implement RAM, hard disk and, more importantly, connectivity to external peripherals such as printers, scanners, projectors and more.

Yesterday, fueled by a misguided optimism, and bounces on the Web on the news that App Store were approved alternative browsers and competitors Safari Mobile. In fact, this is not the case. It is not reversed, nor a sudden change in the controversial policy of approvals on the store software for iPhone. Indeed, studying the best four applications that have been shouting to the miracle (Incognito, Edge Browser WebMate: Tabbed browser and ShakingWeb), we discover that they actually use all four of WebKit, the rendering engine of Safari, made available through a simple library of the SDK.
In other words, these applications are not real browser, but a kind of plug-in for Safari, as it merely exploits the technology by adding a few features not planned initially.

One of the more interesting rumors of Macworld Expo in 2009 concerns a mysterious firmware 3.0 for iPhone, which includes support for quad-core processors. Currently, the mobile phone and Appleās iPod touch have a chip that came to power almost equal to that of Sony’s PlayStation Portable. The adoption of a quad-core processor, then, would be in the case of Cupertino a nice advantage affollato market for portable games console.
At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (CES), Imagination Technologies will present today a quad-core processor and Apple recently acquired a number of shares of Imagination.

It is a pocket-sized camera that can handle HD recording at 720p at 30 or 60 fps. With touch sensitive controls, it will be possible to govern the registration through the LCD screen of 2 “.
The memory of the device is expandable via SDHC cards up to 32 GB to record up to 10 hours of video in HD format. The case has been prepared to withstand various weather conditions, while the microphone removes background noise for a cleaner sound. The colors are available: blue, black, red, pink and yellow. Pricing and availability is not announced.
